Book and Go!

From 3 March you'll need to book before visiting a Sort It recycling centre.
The new system will reduce queues and congestion, prevent misuse by non-residents and commercial traders, help us provide better access to support for those who need it and improve efficiency onsite.
How it works
- Visit the website: southglos.gov.uk/sortitcentres
- Enter your details: Provide your contact and vehicle information, and indicate the type of waste you're bringing with you
- Book your slot: Choose a convenient Sort it recycling centre, date and time
The booking system will be available from 24 February to make bookings from 3 March onwards. You can book a convenient time for you to visit our Little Stoke, Mangotsfield, Thornbury or Yate Sort It recycling centres, subject to availability. You will need to bring proof of home address when you visit.

- Need assistance? Visit one of our One Stop Shops or libraries
- Ask for help: Friends or family can book on your behalf
