Travel Info: Filton & Severn Beach upgrades 17 - 23 August

We’re getting in touch to give you some advance notice of forthcoming work in the Bristol area, which will affect trains between 17 and 23 August.
For the continued safe and reliable running of the railway we will be completing:
- Track and drainage renewals at Lawrence Hill
- Track renewals at Montpelier
- Bridge replacement at Chittening, Avonmouth

Travel arrangements Saturday 17 to Friday 23 August
Saturday 17 August buses replace trains between Severn Beach and Avonmouth only.
Sunday 18 – Friday 23 August buses replace trains between Severn Beach/Clifton Down and Bristol Temple Meads. During this time direct trains will run between Filton Abbey Wood and Bristol Temple Meads but won’t stop at Stapleton Road or Lawrence Hill stations.
