Refugee Festival

South Gloucestershire Council’s Service for Resettling Communities invites you to our 'Celebrate with Me' festival in Page Park on 15th June 2024, 11am-4pm.

Please join us in celebrating the diverse cultures within South Gloucestershire. The event is free for all to attend, and everyone is encouraged to come along and enjoy dancing, music, food, and a range of fun activities. Performances and participatory workshops will run throughout the day including many performances from people with lived experience from refugee background.

Alongside performances, there will be stalls for information and family activities. In addition to Resettling Communities, South Gloucestershire Council will be represented by Public Health, Skills Connect- Employability programme, Adult Social Care, Equalities, Education and Climate and Nature Emergency. Other activities will be organised by Resettling Communities commissioned service- Julian House and Grant recipients Movema, Mangotsfield Hub and Bristol Refugee Festival. Many of our valued partners will also be there including Bridges for communities, SGREN and SGS College.
